Our friendly, experienced staff is here to make you and your child’s visit as stress-free as possible. That’s because as parents and caregivers ourselves, we understand how stressful and upsetting having sick children can be. We’re here to be your partner in your child’s wellness, no matter how old he or she is.
Need assistance after business hours? No problem. We offer after-hour phone service so someone is always available to you in case of an emergency.
Well Care Visits
Our primary care physicians prioritize your wellness.Regularly scheduled well care visits are important because they provide a chance to check up on health and development. Well care visits include monitoring growth, assessing nutrition, routine vaccinations and more. Our team will help you schedule wellcare visits as your child hits all the important benchmarks. If your child is struggling with something specific or needs special attention, we’re here to help. We’re skilled in recognizing and addressing a variety of challenges, and we can assist in identifying children with delayed speech or motor development. At the end of the visit, we’ll provide you with a thorough report that includes the visit outcome and clear next steps. We’ll even add a digital copy for you to access through the patient portal.
Newborn Care
We provide the best pediatric care in the region.Proper nutrition and weight gain are never more important than in the days, weeks, and months after your baby is born. Getting into routine care shortly after being discharged from the hospital helps ensure that everything flows smoothly and that your baby’s well-being is a top priority. Newborn care visits are also the perfect time for new parents to discuss any concerns they have with a doctor who truly cares.
Allergy Shots
Beat the allergies with easy visits to our wellness center.Giving you the ability to fit visits into your busy schedule is always a priority for us. Immunizations
Set your child up for wellness with the necessary vaccines.Immunizations are just one of the ways we help keep your child safe and healthy. We follow the standardized recommendations from the Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC, and we are approved by the VFC (Vaccine for Children Program) to provide vaccinations on-site for carriers of Medicaid insurance. By getting your child properly vaccinated, you can help protect him or her from illness.
Sports Physicals
From football to swimming, our physicians will make sure your child is ready to play.We provide sports physicals in conjunction with well care exams, and we complete any paperwork associated with sports and school physicals when needed. If you need easy access to these forms, we keep them readily available through your patient portal.
Sick Visits
Is your child feeling under the weather? Our doctors can help the same day.No one enjoys getting ill, but we do our best to make sick visits bearable. We’ll always do our best to get you an appointment scheduled on the same day you call us, and same-day sick visits are available for the more common issues we all suffer from, like ear infections, skin rashes, UTIs, the flu and strep throat. When applicable, we’re happy to provide school excuse.
Referral to Specialists & Coordination of Care
If your child needs a medical specialist, we’ll facilitate the transition.As primary care physicians, we will sometimes determine that it’s best to refer you to a specialist. When we do that, we’ll make sure we find someone who takes your insurance. Once you’ve been referred and seen by the specialist, we’ll get your report from them, help you understand the results and then coordinate a plan of care. We stay in the loop because it’s what allows us to give you the best care possible.
Chronic Conditions (Evaluation & Management)
If your child is suffering from a chronic condition, our pediatric physicians are here to help.Regularly scheduled well care visits are important because they provide a chance to check up on health and development. Well care visits include monitoring growth, assessing nutrition, routine vaccinations and more. Our team will help you schedule wellcare visits as your child hits all the important benchmarks. We take care of the diagnosis, monitoring, and coordination of care for chronic conditions like diabetes, asthma, allergies and eczema, and we’ll prescribe and manage the medications your child needs. We’ll also keep you educated every step of the way so you can feel confident each decision about your child’s health is the right one. If you’re a new patient with a preexisting chronic condition, we’ll take time to really get to know your child’s circumstance before we come up with a plan for the best way to monitor his or her health. And if your child is suffering from multiple health problems, we have teams assigned who check in and monitor patients to ensure that their medical needs are taken care of.
